Every student in grades 6 through 8th is required to have a 9 x 12 or 8 x 10 Hard Cover Sketchbook for Art Class.

Students are required to complete 1 sketchbook assignment per week.

ASSIGNEMENTS ARE DUE EVERY WEEK

SKETCHBOOKS MUST BE BROUGHT TO CLASS EACH WEEK

NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED

Students must complete one sketch per week in their sketchbooks.  The purpose of a sketchbook is to strengthen your drawing skills, encourage you to look harder at things, use your imagination, explore techniques that interest you, and challenge you.

Each sketchbook assignment should take at least 20 to 60 minutes and must be done on your own time, unless you are finished with your project in Art Class. I will not accept assignments that are completed during another teacher’s class.

Sketchbook Assignments count as 35% of your total Art Grade so take your time and do your best work!
